If you decide to wait for free inclusion be sure to have some good quality links that are relevant for your website's topic- and be prepared to wait around six months for inclusion. If you PFI, be sure to have some good quality links that are relevant for your website's topic as you will be judged by the same algo for relevance- no boost. AJ has recently increased their marketshare. This makes PFI for freshness a more interesting option (provided you have the relevant links to help you rank well).
