Metacrawler ads Teoma

Businesswire [businesswire.com] reports that Teoma now is part of the SERPs at Infospace/Metacrawler.

More quality I suppose.

Hmm..seems they are extending deals to everybody that could potentially drive interest in their stuff and add revenue.

Good for them. :)

I still do not like the SERPS. Too much spam and paid placement. Even through I rank ok I still would not use this engine for serious web searching.

Sorry, just one mans opinion.

SERP [searchengineworld.com]

Teoma seems is becoming a real player now. The fact that they're making deals and being mentioned so often indicates to me that they will soon start getting more traffic. That's how Google started - remember?

I'm not crazy about the results but they're okay. I think people will always want alternatives - sometimes Google doesn't work for me, or I want to see another opinion, and Teoma may very well become one of those "second opinions", until maybe one day they become a real contender?
