Hi Guys,

I'm afraid this is a bit of a nothingy thread. I was just curious as to what skins people use on WebmasterWorld and whether anyone other than me uses mine.

1. Default
2. Tundra Spring Time (green)
3. Cherry Rose (red)
4. Classic
5. Classic Large Fonts
6. Classic Thin
7. Cool Breeze (blue)
8. Your own custom one

Which do you use and why? If you use your own custom one, what does it look like?

Chris

I like mine. That's why I use it.

I use HyperGeeks Cool breeze one.

It looks so much better than the ugly mess I came up with myself :-)

I use Tundra. After you get over the initial shock, the green(s) and yellow are pretty easy on the eyes.

Click on 'Control Panel' in the page header. You can find all you need there.

You can Edit Your Skin [webmasterworld.com] here.

There are only two ways to respond:
1. <snobbyness>It's maroon and pink actually</snobbyness>
or my prefered way
2. :( <snif><snif><cry><wimperishly and quietly say>Oh!</all>

Chris (chuckling)
p.s. I wanted to call it the 'femine touch'
Looks like I'm a loner :(. OMG, am I going to give myself a complex ;).

I use a custom one - not hugely different from the classic WebMasterWorld one, but a few tweaks in it for myself!

an all blue and grey custom job here, took me a few days to get it sorted but I like it.

I can barely read the default one now, things are the wrong colour and my eyes seem to slide over them by accident.

<added>why does that not surprise me andreas ;)

Well, I use Tundra... since I made it in the first place. :) But I've added footers and tweaked the fonts a bit since Brett added it to the menu. Never did like the original color scheme around here... hehehe.

A bit boring, donīt you think Adam? ;)

While the skin feature is certainly nice I would have liked a nice clean XHTML interface better. That way one could just use a style sheet to style the page any way you want and it would save bandwith as well.

I don't understand skins. It changes some stuff, but not all. The front page doesn't change...
