don't work like that. new is upto 20 posts, junior is upto 80 posts, preferred is upto 200, full is upto 400, senior is 400+. moderators look after the forums, and are in place due to specific knowledge, and / or strong support for the forums, this is a decision made by the administrators, in consultation with the current mods. Administrators, have been on the system for a while (2 years approx), there is only a handful and generally run the forums/webmasterworld day to day, as well as over seeing and advising moderators on issues. Posts are important, but that certainly ain't a way of becoming a moderator/administrator, a mixture of the right sort of knowledge, with a friendly personality, is a good place to start.

Posts are important, but that certainly ain't a way of becoming a moderator/administrator, a mixture of the right sort of knowledge, with a friendly personality, is a good place to start. Attempted bribery is another option. I accept bribes in US$ via money order... heheh ;)

Sinner Mostly the difference is spiritual. Level Seven Members can levitate and predict Google updates 48 hours in advance.

I still think that the levels should be a power of 2 thing. 10, 20, 40, 80, 160, 320, etc. That way you have to post as many messages as you have already posted to make it to the next level.
