Yikes Big Fonts!

 6:26 pm on Jul 22, 2002 (gmt 0)

For some reason my display of WMW is showing BIG fonts. I didn't change anything it just came up this way today. How do I change it back this is killing my eyes!

Jill go into your control panel then skin editor and change the font that way. Also make sure you didnt raise your default font size in IE.

This is the only thing on the net that is displaying this way and my set up for WMW wasn't touched. It all looks fine except the fonts are at about a size 5! I tried rebooting and I checked my fonts in IE I don't see where the size can be set but I didn't touch it.

In IE go to View >> Text Size >> you have Largest thru Smallest to choose from. If its only effecting WW then I would say its not that. Possibly something in the default skin was changed. If you go into the control panel then into skin editor it should say which skin you have. Then click on edit this skin one of the options is font size. You can see then what its set too. If you change it there it will change the skin to your custom skin so any updates to the default skin will not effect you. (this is all speculation as to what happened though. Brett is probably the only one who can verify it.)

I just turned off my computer and ran a scan disk and now it's all back to normal. No telling <shaking head> Thanks for the information.

I get a email like Jills once every couple of days :)

Whenever you see goofy fonts in windows 9X, it's time for a reboot.
