Brett Says in the Google Forum,
We really need to raise the post quality back up there to the point that built this forum. Please help us do that before this forum becomes noise.

If you want to help out, pick out some threads that you feel confident answering and pitch in. We have alot of new users around here the last few months and we could use some help getting questions answered in other forums too.

Ok, I think the dude is right. I know I am guilty of only having 130 posts and I have been a member here for just about 2 years. I have used and abused this place for far too long and it's time to start sharing the wealth. I would hate for this place to become like that other place where theres a whole lot of nothing being posted about nothing. I, like the rest of you come here for the quality content, not to read 8 page threads on the yet to have started google dance. So, I got an idea. I'm giving it a try today and I hope you all do to. It goes like this. Before I even think about comming to the "FOO" forum(5 or 6 times a day), I intend on finding a post in another forum and try to help out someone who needs help.

Hi roscoe! Look at the date, it's almost your second anniversary, you've been a member longer than I have. I remember you from all along.

Thanks for the considerate thoughts. We've got a lot of great people here who share a tremendous amount of knowledge, and the value of their experience, but we've also got a lot of new people who have to be just as dazed and confused as I was when I first began to approach these subjects. First time I ever came across a message board about search engines, I thought "Those people must be crazy, they LIVE at the search engines. I'd never do that."

I have to admit, sometimes I get involved in reading mostly about what I'm absorbed with at the time, and forget about a little feature on the active list. You can click on the heading above the number of posts in the threads and it'll sort according to number of posts. The 1's haven't had responses, and maybe even the 2's and 3's still need help.

If everyone pitched in and answered only a few a day, or each visit, in their own area of special interest, there would be nothing that there wasn't complete information for here.

Thanks for the reminder, and Happy almost_birthday :)
