Idea for a new thread/section on WebmasterWorld

 2:43 am on Jul 18, 2002 (gmt 0)

I was thinking about this the other day, but I thought it would be worth mentioning here.

I would love to see a section dedicated to the exchanging of relevant recip. links. It could be required that we put somewhere in the title keywords that would indicate what type of industries we are trying to get relevant links from.

Title = "Looking for Jewelry links"
Message Body = "I have a PR4 links page for recip. links, looking for PR4+ recip. links."

Then all interested parties can sticky mail us or respond in the forum. What do you think??? It would be nice having people email me asking for links for once :)

Ya, we've considered it before, but like the others, I think it would hazardous to the health of some sites.

I've traded links with people on here, but it wasn't from asking or seeking link trades. It was by reading posts, and happening to look at a users profile and see their site - because mine and their site had similar interests it struck up conversation thus a link trade happened. ;) I dont straight out trade links. My sites are informative, so maybe ill write a article for someone or they will write one for me and their link will be on that article or mine on the one i wrote for their site. they get content i get a link or visa versa ;)
