Why does the COLOR thing no longer work? I am feeling blue.

If I use the CODE, or QUOTE tag, only the first paragraph will have the "right" font

Okay, I found the color "bug". It's because the forum software will put a # in front of "blue". So I guess I will have to use "0000ff" or similar. The UBB-Codes help page [webmasterworld.com] still lists "blue" as an example.

Ok thanks Luma. I did not know that was still on the codes page.

I'm probably going to remove the color option all together. It conflicts with people creating their own skin colors.

>>I'm probably going to remove the color option all together<<

Brett - Sorry to hear that... it's very useful sometimes. I just used the color option, in conjunction with the font size option, and found the font size tags had to be inside the color tags for the font sizes to work.

In any event, the help page doesn't cover what's going on with color or with nested tags.

PS to the above... Brett - Just read your post about hidden links in some posts using the hex color option, which is one of the reasons you want to drop it. What a colossal drag. Every once in a while, when I introduce myself as a SEO, the person I meet will outline all the sleazy tricks any of us ever heard, thinking he's meeting a kindren spirit... and I'm usually not polite. I'm having the same reaction to the hidden text in posts. #%*!!$#@#!!
