Yep, thought I'd be slick and add a news ticker to the top of my custom skin. Now I can't use that account. :(

I thought scrolling headlines would be nice across the top of the page, the problem is, the rest of the page won't load.

What's happening when you try to use that account, DG?

The news ticker loads and everything below the ticker is blank. I can't get back into the profile screen to change anything. :)

Sounds like a missing </table> tag and netscape. Have you tried with another browser?

Sounds like it was a browser/java problem. I've thought about a "panic" button up there, but nothing sticks out as a real effective possiblity.

gotta have a header/footer count per user name. If the header is displayed X amount more than footer show reverted skin. ;)

Brett pointed out in sticky mail that disabling script would have allowed me in to make the necessary changes. Something I wasn't thinking about as the script worked just fine :)

I was looking for a way to get my newsfeeds and my WMW at the same time. The solution, which I haven't implemented yet would be to put the ticker, (I'm considering RSS feeds instead) in a remote page and use an iframe. I'm still messing around with my SEO Blues skin and it looks pretty soothing on the eyes. Once I get newsfeeds on the page and a way to change my radio stations I'll be all set. :)

Yes, an IFRAME is the way to go. Endless possibilities. I really like this feature.
