Brett - are you just trying to make us all feel bad by only posting to the bug fix thread between 1 and 4 AM? :)
Just kidding - thanks again for all of your hard work. It is appreciated.

I'm sure he was sticking around for the England game ;)
I have no issues, though on the occassional refresh, my name is electro and I have 1 unread mail ;)
I can't find any bugs :)

One random thing: It's only happened a few times, but after submitting a new post or stickymail message, instead of being sent to the confirmation page I get sent to a blank page (only header & footer, no content), and the message/post won't be sent.
It's like the functional equivalent of the old "required files not available" page I used to sometimes get sent to, except there's not even a cryptic error message now.
Is this a "known issue" or have I just given you a new headache?

I'll keep an eye out for that. It kinda jogs my memory and I think I've seen it before Mivox. Thanks.

I believe I have the time zone bug tracked down. Let me know if it isn't.
You may want to double check your profile and reset your time zone before testing.
Also, I am testing today only with full no cache headers.
1:33 pm on Jun 8, 2002 (gmt 0)
What exactly is the time zone feature meant to do? All I see is (utc 0)
I've just reset my profile and am seeing the same.
1:38 pm on Jun 8, 2002 (gmt 0)
Head to your profile options and see the time zone drop down. It adjusts all times on posts to your time zone.
I still need to figure out a system to compensate those that are on day light savings and those on standard time. That's a head scratcher.

I seeing. Thanks.

"Reset Last Read Pointer" doesn't always 'take' if I click "Forums Index" to leave a Forum too quickly. I really have to let it settle, whereas before I could go to the Forums Index as soon as I saw the page beginning to refresh.

The date for forum 19 is showing Jan 1 2002 for the last post on [webmasterworld.com...] . Me thinks this one is a little more active than that :).
It's back to the correct date and time.
8:14 am on Jun 9, 2002 (gmt 0)
I am getting the correct time!
I just had to compensate for daylight savings by one hour, which I've always had to anyway, so it's no problem. Not everyplace observes DST, fine like this it's only twice a year.

Sorry Brett, One more issue.
When I click send message to send or reply to a message I get a 404 error message. However, when I click back on my browser and click the button again it works. This happens intermitantly.
I get the same problem as above intermitantly in all sections of my stickymail.

Lawman became a senior member with less than 400 posts here. Is it normal?
[webmasterworld.com...] post # 100
Does FOO posts suddenly count?
9:23 pm on Jun 10, 2002 (gmt 0)
In sticky mail, when I look at the sent mail folder it's showing only my name as the sender. It really should be showing who it was sent to.
6:32 am on Jun 11, 2002 (gmt 0)
Let me know if that is still the case Chris (I found a couple of issues that _may_ have been the cause of that).
Thanks Mac - didn't know that.
12:02 pm on Jun 11, 2002 (gmt 0)
Well coming down to it.
There are two errors know errors left (dillo cookies and post counts).
Any others that can be recreated? Those pesky one time things are what I'm after now...
I am aware of the error Chris, but I've been unable to reproduce it or even know where to start on looking for it.
12:15 pm on Jun 11, 2002 (gmt 0)
k. Thanks Brett.
1:51 am on Jun 12, 2002 (gmt 0)
I got a new one for you. I was trying to post a 15k IP list and got a 404 on postaga.cgi
What is the post size limit anyhow?
5:48 am on Jun 12, 2002 (gmt 0)
I'm trying to track down the source of that rare 404 on posting KM. I know it's there from looking at the error logs (about 10 errors yesterday), but I can't reproduce it and haven't seen it yet myself.
Post size limit is 130k'ish.

Brett, donno if this was mentioned before, but
- if I choose Time Zone Offset +1.00 Brussels, Copenhagen, press submit,
I get -12.00 Eniwetoc, Kwajalein in the box (which is one hour behind to the time here).
- yesterday I still got thrown out of wmw frequently if i closed a message.
<<added>> this only happens when i click on the numbered pages (the 2 e.g. in this thead), just got to get used to that.
for the rest everything seems working fine.

thats neat, did not notice that exclamation mark for your posted messages!
keep it going..

Thanks vita - on the list.

The timezone actually gets stored correctly (and is shown correctly in the text below the dropdown). It's just that this selection is not reflected in the active element of the dropdown itself, so that if you don't pay attention when changing something else on your profile, you're automatically deported to the aleutian islands.
Simply a matter of inserting a "selected" attribute into the right option tag.
12:58 pm on Jun 12, 2002 (gmt 0)
And magically, the time zone display should be fixed.
1:00 pm on Jun 12, 2002 (gmt 0)
When i change to timezone +01 it doesn't work and everything beneath it disappear (from the profile)
1:38 pm on Jun 12, 2002 (gmt 0)
you must have done that while I was uploading the file. Seems to work for me.
4:51 pm on Jun 14, 2002 (gmt 0)
Last call. I think I've got all but the one 'delete message' bug that doesn't update the index or active list to reflect the change.
5:30 pm on Jun 14, 2002 (gmt 0)
Woohoo! Another nit to pick! ;)
Would it be possible to show the subthread numbers on the "my threads" page as well?
