Did you just jump right in, or lurk for awhile?

Just curious to find out how people found out about webmaster world. Did you browse around for a while or just jump right in at the deep end with your first post.

I have to admit that I just jumped right in with a URL drop and a question. Perhaps I should have read the rules first.

But people where very understanding and just advised me that I should ask specific questions and that way I would get a lot more from webmasterworld, They where right.

sometimes I do a duplicate when I am posting in a thread that spans more that one page... you could be At teh bottom of page 1 of 2 and click "reply to this topic" you edit your post and click on submit. It refreshed to the page you where on and you dont see your post..cos it is at the bottom of page 2... Yesterday i did the same thing...but clicked back and pressed submit again..hence my duplicate :)

Don't know if that was it, mack. This thread is still going on page 1, but it's good to know. I thought maybe Nick just got too happy. ;)

>But I am nearly sure I spelled "Optimalisation".

vitaplease, i caught someone on a message board post referring to me as her search engine optimist. Now watch for "optimalisation" at the next update!

I'm still lurking.....

I spend at least a couple of hours a day at WmW. I just don't speak up much. :)
