No, something has changed with the member status. I remember a week or so I ago I finally made Senior Member (300th post) and am now a Preferred Member. A demotion? Okay, what did I do wrong?

Maybe he changed where each status started/stopped and make some more rankings, couz we all know that we want new ratings all the time! Once you get to the top we want higher!

My post count seems to have slipped - I looked at a saved page from feb 2 and it was 162. - noticed it because loss of "Preferred" status. I guess a reversion to a prior data set. No big deal, but had me questioning my sanity for a moment. :)

Yes, everyone thought it was time to slowly raise the bar a little bit again.

I suppose as a mere junior member, I shouldn't make a fluff post to bump up my count ;), but this discussion reminds me of a discussion I once heard between a distressed student and a professor.
Student: I don't understand how I got a D in your class.
Professor: The grade is based 50% on participation.
Student: But I often said things in class.
Prof: Yes, but not a single one of them was interesting.
