I read it's a special treatment to split long nicks. The left margin of whole treads would be too wide with long nicks in them.

There real game to play is can you guess people's real names from the logins.

It's obvious Brett's first name is Steve ;) but who are the others??? DizzyDazz is Darren but what is my name???

No ... seriously I've forgotten. I can only remember my login names. The labels on my clothers contradict. One says CK the other says Ralph Laren. Please HHHEEELLLPPP!!!

Ya CW, there was display issue with really long nicks - they would slide the posts too far to the right. I had many complaints over some long nicks, but I wanted to allow long nicks so that if any choose to use their real name. Chopping the _ out of the longer ones was the solution I came up with.

:) I've got to stick with "papabaer" - I have too much "branding" to change now... ;)

Change to "New_Nick"_formely_knowed_as_Click_Watcher?

Changing nicks is possible, but VERY expensive...

click_watcher, you have some branding going on yourself:
[google.com...] :)

Consider your investment!

Well gee, I don't even have a nickname because I couldn't think of one. And my name is caught in a hyper-competitive maze.

How do you think up good nicknames? I've thought about a change, but still can't think of any I could use.

Marcia_Marcia_Marcia .... ummm, nah, it's been done before ;)

Think "attitude" - sometimes it helps when deciding on a nick...
