in case you were wondering what I was testing with the last couple posts to other thread in this forum - here it is:
When I post a reply it sometimes says "Your post has been added" which is fine. Other times is says 'username Your post has been added" - the problem is it is not my user name. The post shows up fine with my username but the confirmation is kinda screwy. I think it is defaulting to the username of the person who started the thread or possibly the person who posted the most recent post to mine. Clear as mud?
It's been there for a while now, I thought it might be a "moderators only" problem. Usually, it does seem to be the last person to have made a prior post, but I just saw my first one with TWO users listed. I was also wondering if the users we're seeing have checked "email notification" --though I think that is a very remote possibility.
The name that shows up? That is who has just been sent an email notice on the post. (those people listed, selected 'do you want an email notification of replies') when they left the post. It is nice to know who just got email. I suppose I could say something to that effect...on the list.
