I didn't even look at price

if it's free I suppose we could have a WMW social meet...that might be sufficiently useful to justify taking time off work...doesn't look like the conference itself will be

Yup, it's a freebie.

Not too sure who is exhibiting etc - it only lists previous exhibitors. No mention of any seminars either.

Still, can't hurt can it?

there must be a decent pub somewhere in West Ken

It's Free.

There are about ten seminar's split towards Webdesign SEO for The foot solders, then the others are for Management types of companies, obviously a banaza on the cheque book signers, which is more to do with net presence and alternative advertising methods.

Hence i signed up as an IT Manager, so that i can get into both and see what the cheque books are thinking, as a future emphassis towards the fallacies and realities of dealing with relatively large contracts. And also walk around with my Jacob Neilson frone on, at the web design and SEO practicies being promoted.

I'm working on the premisis that if it bore's me you will find me in the closest pub to Olympia

So who's going ?

I'll ask the DG soon as he's back in the office...could be a laugh

but next stage is checking out what are the decent pubs near Olympia

Used to live in West Ken.

There's a decent (at least it used to be) and good sized pub a bit down North End Road (where it crosses cromwell road) called the The Famous Three Kings.

It's a little walk from olympia though I'm sure there are more pubs in the immediate vicinity.

I will be going, mainly to see if there are any marks there that I can pick up some work from.

I know the Three Kings well and used to go there about every couple of months. It used to serve excellent pizzas. But there are closer pubs to Olympia.

If anyone comes up with a location I will be happy to meet up on the evening of the 10th.

All the best
Ian

If you guys decide on a time and location for refreshments, let me know and I'll see if I can get along.

Ian, Engine, and all others

I think the three kings is a viable option, just need to sort out a schedule to everybody's liking.

Thanks Ian - guess we'll just have to wait for the next WmW PubConference in the UK. Who's arranging? NFFC? Engine?

It's definitely going to be high on my social/business calender... ;)
