DaveAtIFG is one member name that really reminds me of my early days on WebmasterWorld. back then I was the newbie and he had the knowledge, but was very willing to share what he knew and help out members wherever possible. It is the people like him who have shaped this site over the years. Sad day for the industry. Mack.

I can't say enough about Dave. His kindness and generousity towards me will never be forgotten. See [webmasterworld.com...] Just 10 weeks ago, I finally got to meet him in person when he was able to come and visit me in the Caribbean. It was his first real vacation in years and we had a grand time! I will treasure the fact that we were able to meet and I could finally thank him in person. He stuck with me through thick and thin. I will miss him. "Patch"

Condolences for Dave, may god give strength to his family and friends to recover fast and do the deeds he may have requested in his life time. I do not know him personally and never intracted online with him but his contribution on webmasterworld is visible which had given me an admirable reputation for his name. I remember when he announced that he was stepping down as admin on doctor's orders and it seemed like such a loss at the time. I'm sad to hear that the loss is truly permanent now. It's funny, we live in this little world at WebmasterWorld that our families don't really know about. I hope his knows how much he was liked and valued here.
