I am currently a basketball widow. That would explain the Mavs logo on the site. Between WebmasterWorld and the Mavs, I am beginning to forget what Brett looks like. ;)

I figured that was what the logo was, it was just the link on it that I got me confused. :)

Ya, we did the same for home town team for the rose bowl. I went with the link to Cuban because the Mavs site (like all the other nba teams) is owned by the NBA. There is no point to link to the nba page. The espn page is even better. The other choices would be Marks sales site (dallasmavs.com), or IceRocket. Nobody would get IceRocket and up until a few days ago, it was actually going to be sold. So, that left his blog where he has staff/peer review on his entries and often comments about search matters (see one of the latest entries on Click Fraud). Additionally, Mark and many of his web staff are long time supporting members here. Lastly, we have invited Cuban to speak at PubCon and a little link love can go along way in helping sway a decision ;-) Mostly, it is just for the fun of it...
