And the previous discussions on where we should go.
I think it turned out good. I'm excited about what the new hp can do for members. There will be some minor adjustments and changes along the way.
If anyone has any problems with the HTML on the homepage, please let me know asap. Outside of StickyMail, the entire board now validates as HTML 4.01 valid by the W3C validator.
The Old homepage is still there. It is linked on the right under "Forum Index" at the top of the forums list.
Well, for a moment I thought I'd come to the wrong site but I do really like it. The ability to see immediately the latest topics etc is an excellent feature. Well done Brett, it must have been a lot of work but an excellent end result.
Thanks folks. I like most of the changes. Some of them were done for users, and other done for the sake of promotion and usability.
>Is this the day from which the Highlighted >Posts were drawn or the current date?
The date listed on the home page is the date it was put on the homepage Woz (not the date the thread was started). I think I best stick with that since I may have to dig out some old posts from time-to-time. There may be occasions where really old posts get dug up and I'd prefer a more current date on the homepage.
