Can it just be used, or is permission required before hand?

Used freely. Only thing I would ask, is that you leave the one link in the no frame section. (spiders will see it).

Thank you, Brett!
I have been trying to compile a list of useful links for internet help. I have now trashed the entire list and replaced it with the "active posts" frame.

If any Netscape 4 guru, would like to contribute Netscape Layers code with applicable js detect, that would also help.
The current IFRAME code:
<IFRAME src="http://www.webmasterworld.com/active_excerpt.cgi?ashow=7" width="390" height="390" scrolling="auto" frameborder="1">
<a href="http://www.webmasterworld.com">WebmasterWorld.com</a> active post list.</IFRAME>

If I was running a Webmaster site, this would be fantastic. Ive always been jealous of Delphi forums for their ability to do this, I only wish I could have the same functionality for our present hosted dicussion board (Ezboards). Providing visitors to our home page with "immediate buzz" from our discussion group would be great.
Also brett, you may want to consider creating an XML RSS feed powered by a script building on "recent posts". We get a lot of traffic and mainstream media attention from our own daily RSS feeds. That would also be another way for people to display dynamic content from WMW either through js, css, and a host of other scripts.

Are you psychic? Just finished it about 15 mins ago. Gotta do some code tweaking yet for the urls, but da guts are done. This is one for the active list, but the one I will "push" is the one for the highlighted post of the day.
