Post 1001!
Finally! And it only took 3.5 years!

 12:40 am on Nov 11, 2005 (gmt 0)

So... 1270 days after signing up with this username (used to have another, but lost it, but hey! who cares?) or 3 years, 5 months, 21 days after becoming a member; after several pubcons and many happy experiences - I hit post 1001. (Excluding Foo - but who's going to compete with the likes of Syzygy, BeeDeeDubbleU, Essex_boy or pmkpmk? :))

And guess what? Despite the fact most of them were cr*p, it's still a great feeling to see that number of posts roll over to 4 figures!

Well lads, it's been great, and no doubt you've taught me more than I've taught you; and since I'm no longer in the web business, one of the few CF lads on this board will soon be no longer. But, it's been a blast. And I should probably bow out to the new generation of "My Adsense account just got canceled!" ;) [But not just yet.]

Cheers, and have a beer on me! Oh, and you Adsense cancelled people - make sure you don't repeat your mistakes with YPN or soontobe MSN-PN. I'm not sure if this board can take too many more "Where did I go wrong? I only clicked on 2 ads!" threads!

Congrats on the four figure post count. But I'm unclear on whether you're leaving or not. I don't want to appear to be giving you the bums' rush if you're still going to post.

Hey lawman,

Why not arange for his count to go down to say... mmm... let's say 20. Maybe he'll stick around another 3 years :-)

If I had that much pull, I'd arrange for my post count to go up. :)

Erm, mentioned in dispatches at last! ;-)

Well done and congratulations, Sanenet, on achieving such a landmark; well done for staying the course - well done for making a point when you felt there was a point to be made. Well done for biting your tongue when necessary. Well done for your rationality - such things are key.
