Saying Hi here.
Saying hi here to avoid derailing other topics. :)

Its good to be back here after a fair while away.

Rumours of my death have been greatly exagerated. :)

Mind you, I did get divourced, and have undergone a lot of other life-changes, such as taking a full-time SEO position for just one company (though I still act as a senior consultant for an SEO company I have long association with).

I'm still living and working in London, UK, and am still ironing out some of the wrinkles in my new lifestyle. :)

I've handed AIM-pro over into the capable hands of my partners there. Now that I'm no longer a freelancer, I can't rightly share as much info on what I'm doing these days.

Anyway, a big "Hello again" to all those of you I know of old, and an equally pleased "Hi" to those I don't.

Ammon Johns (AKA Black Knight)

[edited to add some background about where I am now working]

apologies if the link breaks - I figure you'll all know how to fix it. :)

Glad to meet you, Black_Knight, and welcome back. Thanks for saying "Hi," and updating those who know you.

It's always nice to know who people are and what they're doing. Then it's like meeting the real person, as much as we can on the net.

Nice to see you again BK - thought you dropped off the face of the world. I updated your profile with old info - evidently your account didn't survive the last member list weeding.

So who is running Aim-Pro these days? I've not heard it mentioned much lately and was just asking some folks about it a couple weeks ago.

Hey Brett, good to see you again.

Roger Dooley is now heading the AIM-pro stuff, and is, I believe, still very active on the MarketPositionTalk.com forums. He's always been a very level-headed and amiable colleague, and I'm sure you'll be hearing more of AIM-pro now that someone with some time is leading the effort.

Marcia, nice to meet you too. For background I'm just something of a 'blast-from-the-past' I guess. I used to know a few scraps of useful info about SEO and occassionally help people out a bit. Maybe I still do. We'll have to see. :)

Hey BK - good to see you back.

>>I used to know a few scraps

yeah maybe just a couple (you can't see it but I'm grinning widely and the good natured sarcasm is actually dripping on my keyboard) - I recall picking up one or two along the way. ;)

Looking forward to picking at all the new knowledge you've acquired in your absence.

Well, (grinning myself now), dooyoo did aquire a company called SKOPOS a while back which I'm about to help them market once they redesign it...

The site is being completely reworked right now, but you'll get the gist of what they do, and what it means in terms of picking up the odd scrap of knowledge here and there. ;)

Just wanted to pop my head in and say hi!

It's good to see you out and about again (and doing well for yourself). We have a great community going here, you'll have to swing by more often.

"Roger Dooley"

He swings by here every once in a while (I think his nick is rogerd)

Thanks Seth, good to see you again too.

Oh ok - Roger, sure. I'd never put the two together. It's hard to keep all the players straight anymore. We need a player program guide...
