This whole Ian Turner thread is a testament to the true greatness of the people of WW. I look forward to reading Ian's posts in the future! PS How can we prevent this from happening again? IE. mobile messengers etc? SMS alerts ect? Can we learn from this? Craig.

Umm ... Swebbie, I think you will find that amznVibe is in Florida. I always thought that was part of the US. Perhaps I am mistaken? Anyway ...
Very, very glad to hear Ian is safe and sound. I can't imagine the fear and concern his friends and family have been through. Alls well that ends well! :)

Heh heh I remember something like this happening to me in Japan once. It was less of a passport issue and more of a waking up in a japanese police station and too much beer issue though. It was all good, however. Those japanese police are rather amazing polite to gaijin.
