Robin, I really think somebody with seven full time employees has earned the right to order a beer. Maybe even two. :) -Sudden

| And you're not even 21 yet?! Nice job and congrats for building a 7 person company faster than most people! If you see me, stop me, we'll figure SOMEthing out for drinks :)

| Ever hear the saying "Two wrongs don't make a beer drinker"? ;) Don't worry. If it's not already fun without beer chances are it's not fun in the first place. It will be fun with or without beer. Quite an interesting and varied crowd. P.S. No one here will intentionally participate in any scheme that would facilitate the consumption of alcohol by miners. So, leave the helmet and pick-axe home.

That true, it isn't hard to, er, have fun in college, so I doubt Sin City Part Deux will be any harder. Yea, I founded it when I was 12, I've been lurking here for probably 5 years, and I've learned almost everything I know from this, the greatest site on the web. u4eas, SEOMike, gopi and everyone else I def want to meet up, trade ideas and have a good time. We might be celebrating an explosion in traffic for our sites, once of these Sunday's the sites and I are going to be profiled on an incredinly popular (most popular Network Broadcast TV show in I believe it's timeslot) each Sunday morning... If it's aired by then I'll have to treat everyone. Who else on here is young, maybe still in college? Robin Maybe Google will take some of my sites out of the sandbox as a 21st birthday present... cause you know, our sites just SCREAM spam, with their 6,000 word reviews, and being Froogle and Google News Sources... [sorry, I'll stop ranting]

My son built his first site when he was 8. Now he's 13 and owns a fairly popular gaming site. Game reviews, cheats, hints. He's not running ads or anything yet, but he knows all about how it works, from watching me. He's so excited about me going to New Orleans and would love to come along. He asked if I could get autographs for him from the Google Guys, LOL. I didn't even consider bringing him, too young. Maybe one day though, he'll be the youngest conference member.

| 22 here, just got out of college :) This will be my first conference. I have 7 employees too, but none of them are fulltime (more like 5 hours per week). Kudos to you though, that is something to be proud of. | P.S. No one here will intentionally participate in any scheme that would facilitate the consumption of alcohol by miners. |
| Webwork: if it's fun without drinking, its prolly more fun WITH drinking. It is called "pubcon" for a reason right? ;) p.p.s. my friend tells me a 17 year old can drink in nawleans without getting carded, apparently they are a bit lax about that sort of thing in Louisiana (weren't they the last state to raise the drinking age to 21? I think they only did it because the fed. government wouldnt give them money unless they did, and their roads were full of potholes so louisiana finally gave in... the same friend told me the roads have never recovered)

No one will intentionally serve to minors, but if you say you're 21 and you have an honest face... I just can't picture people getting carded.

What bar will the pubcon be at? Robin from my extensive New Orleans experience I don't think you'll have too much trouble having a few drinks down there especially on Bourbon Street. They won't sell it to minors but with so much so close together they usually don't care who you hand off to.

I feel bad having this public discussion of underage drinking. I don't need to drink, I'm sure the conference will be lots of fun and a great experience with my not being to drink.

Robin, there are plenty of people who come to the conference and don't drink alcohol (the notorious Shak being one of them) - so don't worry about feeling lonely. :) You'll have plenty of us to keep you company. I look forward to meeting you!

I'm 24 and I've never had a drink nor ever will. I'm in college though just for the bureaucratic need for a piece of paper. I must commend you for being able to start a business with 7 employees so quickly in life. It's a wonder anyone can learn so quickly even at a great site like this. I've never really looked in to what the conference is or when and where it's held. Does it change locations? I'd love to meet some of the folks here.
