Sooo many, I'll just start a scratchpad and return to it as I think of them. Some, like the FTP thread, were not profound -but darn useful.

Now testing a new link on the top navbar (library):
More details as I flush out the system.
If it looks suspiciously similar to the active list - your right. Let me know if you see any errors.
I'm not too concerned about content at this point, but more recommendations welcomed.

This library sounds great!
May I suggest this addition to the list?
"How search engines work. A primer."

Nice list of posts. I see some that I must have missed before...this is a great addition to Webmaster World.

Whoa! Nice addition to the power tools, BT. Folks, if there has ever been a board built (and rebuilt, and rebuilt, and re...) to be used as pro a reference tool, WebmasterWorld is it!

Excellent addition, Brett. A few I missed too. Another great resource.

Can i suggest that you think about a "Vote" or "Nominate" button beside each topic?
This will save you having to scan the posts manually for suggestions and make it dead easy for us to nominate a favourite. Apologies if this has been suggested already.....

Thanks Jimmy. Someone had suggested that. I will give it some more consideration.

Comment on cloaking from a SE - this thread was mad! I'm sure if you lot were in a pub discussing this then it would've turned to fisty-cuffs! It would be nice to direct Googleguy and the Fast peeps to that thread, I would like to see their opinion.

How about this one? Prompting for reciprocal linkage.

Yeah, it was a question of mine...but I referred to it a lot, and even though my company's Unix-mainframe-god-type people used another method to solve my problem...this thread, redirecting a large site with .htaccess [webmasterworld.com] had a lot of value for me...
2:18 pm on Apr 6, 2002 (gmt 0)
All of the above threads are listed in the 'library'.
9:45 am on Apr 8, 2002 (gmt 0)
i'd like to say that as i'm so brilliant, every post of mine should be in the library ... but i'm thick and stupid so best we give that a miss.
how about putting the dance cards up there? or even better, how about putting the dance cards in a separate library?
10:04 am on Apr 8, 2002 (gmt 0)
At the risk of sounding snippy, (which I am not trying to be) the "Dance Card" threads already have their own forum ... its called "Google"! Sooooo many "me too's" and "Is it over yet's?" ... I don't think that calls for a hall of fame listing or the bandwidth!

Liane - it's this sort of thing i'm referring to rather than the google update!
