This is line 1 This is line 2This is line 3 after a blank line
breaks, but
This is line 1 This is line 2 . This is line 3 after a blank line
keeps the formatting intact. Ditto for multiple spaces. You'll have to use "." to keep them from being squished into one space.

msg:523312 | 4:13 pm on Jan 10, 2005 (gmt 0) | [ pre ][ /pre ] usually works well for keeping things on one line. What problems have you encountered? For the line breaks, you can put an empty bbcode block to preserve the formatting. For example [ b ][ /b ] (without the spaces).
