Resigning as Moderator - it's been a fun ride, but...
Marcia

I've been a member of WebmasterWorld for nearly 4 years, almost from the very beginnings, and a Moderator for close to that; in fact I was mod of Commercial Exchange and this forum both when they started. I was an Admin for over 3 years and have been Moderator of the Google News forum, which I love dearly, for just about that long, too.

But there comes a time when the time has come. It's been great, it's been fun and I've loved it. But the time has come to resign as a WebmasterWorld Moderator.

I'll still participate of course, it's a great community with a lot of the most wonderful people I've had the honor and pleasure of meeting.

Love you all, and I truly mean it!
Marcia

We'll miss your help behind the scenes; I don't think anyone could describe how much you've put into WebmasterWorld.

> I'll still participate of course

You'd better! (I can't see how you could resist anyway)

Marcia--

Thanks for your efforts as a moderator.

I've always found your posts valuable and well-reasoned. I'll look forward to reading more of them now since you'll have more free time just for postting! :)

In one of your recent posts you alluded to some possible changes, so Im not surprised, but certainly disappointed. I always pay particular attention to your posts. Thanks for your contributions and best of luck with whatever new paths you travel.

When I have one of my discussions with myself about my membership you are definitely one of my reasons to stay.

Welcome among the senior members! ;)

Like so many many others, I have valued the contributions you've made as mod and you've given out a lot of good, sound advice. You shall be missed. Please do continue to participate though. Thanks Marcia!

I'm not really one for me too posts, but...

When I first found this site, your posts, and answers to newbie questions were one of the reasons I hung around here, and signed up as a member.

Thank you for your part of making WebmasterWorld what it is.

Marcia,

You know what they say about every dark cloud...

I've not learnt much on this site (I'm one of those people who just does not get it unless its shoved down my throat), but a lot of what I've learnt has been on forum3 over the last couple of years. Thanks!

Hope to catch up with you at a pubcon soon.

You've done a top-notch Job Marcia, moderating one of the top forums at WebmasterWorld.

Sad to see you go, but then again, you'll have more time to post rather than to help out behind the scenes ;)

Always love ya posts.

Genuinely sad to see you go Marcia. Your posts have always been balanced and you've never felt the need to play devil's advocate, unlike some, to get a thread to focus ;)

I sensed this from some of your past posts and wondered when it would happen. Happens to most active volunteers and knowing when to time out is better than getting burnt out.

Thank you for your great contributions; hopefully you will have more time to write about what interests you.

Please Be Gentle

Marcia
I can't believe that you won't be moderating any more. You were like the mother-figure of the mods (firm but fair and always encouraging) and I'll miss your contributions. Thanks for all your hard work and tolerance and best of luck for the future.
Kindest Regards
