[webmasterworld.com...]

SqueezeCon? lol.

Ya, we are going to wedge one in here before the big #7.

A bunch of us are going to be there anyway, and we were planning a pub crawl when someone said the magic word "conference" - so lets do it!

This thing will probably sell out fast...

I just cancelled my Novotel booking as I got an invitation to stay with friends. Be quick to fetch it if you're still looking for a room :)

Yay, got a room in the Thistle, me & Cazgh are sharing a room. However, seems everyone is staying elsewhere!

Anyone else in the Thistle?

See you all on Friday :)

Are there any spaces free? I may be able to turn up on the day (depends on how busy my Friday is) and pay someone cash for the entry if possible?

It's actually my local pub - I'm 2 minutes from there, so could show up at short notice. Would love to go, just can't commit due to other pressures tomorrow.

Mat,
Air traffic controllers have stopped their strike now...
Weather is warm with sunshine at the moment. Hope it sticks like that :)

See you here,
JP

Not a strike, more a complete system failure early this morning. Lots and lots of delays. Joy. Still, good news on the weather. Thanks. I can hear a brown pint calling my name already.

[bbc.co.uk...] this should give you a good idea of the weather for London over the weekend, warm but could be cloudy!

Hmmm... I drank too much on Wednesday evening after getting roped in to going down to the pub with the Mirago crowd. Ended up falling asleep on the tube and woke up way out in Zone 5. Stood in the freezing cold waiting for a taxi... a bus... anything for about an hour, because the last train had gone.

Will somebody please remind me not to do the same thing tomorrow, once - or preferably before - my speech starts slurring.

Thanks. >;->

Last minute details...

Does anyone know what time it all starts? Can't find details or a program anywhere...

Aaahhh I see - no program, no details, just turn up at 3?

Yep! Come on down. Just bring 75 to the door and we'll give you a nametag and let you in!

Well I've made it into London - finally.
I did not realise that it was a bank holiday in Ireland and that Heathrow still operated on 286 Amstrads :)

Look forward to meeting everyone and sampling some of the local brew.

Not sure if I can make some time available - I have so much work to do tonight and over the weekend.

As it's my local pub though, I did just pop down and said a quick hello to Brett. Will try and pop along for a few hours later, but will definitely be at the next London one if I can't do.

Have fun!
