WebmasterWorld.com Announces Appointment of New Press Secretary
Technology PR Expert to Lead WebmasterWorld.com Conference and Publicity Efforts

Austin, Texas – December 22, 2003 – WebmasterWorld.com, the largest discussion forum [alexa.com] on the web, today announced the appointment of Neil Marshall as press secretary. Marshall will manage WebmasterWorld.com’s worldwide conference and site publicity. Reporting directly to Brett Tabke, founder and CEO of WebmasterWorld.com, Marshall will guide the behind-the-scenes press and publicity strategies both in the UK, Europe and in the US.

Marshall founded MJPR, a publicity and design services agency, in 1988 and previously worked as an account manager with a major UK-based communications agency. Prior to that he was in technical sales and marketing at a large telecommunications, electronics, electrical and industrial group of companies. In 1995 Marshall recognised the potential offered by the Internet, and developed an interest in leading-edge search engine techniques, Internet research and utilisation of the Internet to assist MJPR clients. Today, Marshall creates and manages SEO & SEM campaigns and website design for a broad range of companies and industries.

The new press secretary is no stranger to WebmasterWorld.com. As senior administrator, he has worked with a team of other administrators and moderators for more than three years to ensure the highest quality discussions on the site. “Marshall’s position as my trusted confidante over the past few years has helped guide WebmasterWorld.com into the position of the largest forum on the web today,” said Tabke. “His considered approach and broad-based philosophy of long-term promotion and marketing is a cut above today’s prevalent ‘cash today, consequences tomorrow’ marketing crowd.”

Marshall’s appointment comes at a time of steep growth for WebmasterWorld.com. In addition to being the largest discussion forum online today, WebmasterWorld.com also hosts multiple conferences each year to facilitate the discussion and promotion of webmaster issues, including search engine optimization and marketing, site design and web business concerns. “Every day WebmasterWorld.com enters a new phase of growth and expansion and it’s very exciting to be involved. There is a great deal more untapped potential and that’s why WebmasterWorld.com is such an exciting entity,” said Marshall.

>>“Marshall’s position as my trusted confidante over the past few years has helped guide WebmasterWorld.com into the position of the largest forum on the web today,” said Tabke.<<

Who wrote the press release? Is Brett quoting Brett about Neil or Neil quoting Brett about Neil?

Great news, great growth, many congratulations!

Congratulations engine :)

Looking forward to seeing the results of your PR work.

In the UK, Web User magazine often gives Webmasterworld a mention as a place to pick up search engine tips. Just thought that I would mention it. :)
