Hi there,

I know it's been a long time since I last posted here.

Nick_W wrote me a sticky mail some time ago asking how I have been, etc. Sorry for not answering that sticky Nick. But there is only so much one can do in one day. And after 11 hours of work that were pretty demanding either because of the work or because you had to fight the company bureaucracy I just haven't had the energy to post here.

You might call me naive but this whole bureaucracy thing was something I really didn't expect and didn't expect to take that much time and energy. This took some getting used to.

And then I had to move from all those open source languages like Perl and PHP to Visual Basic and VBscript, from Apache to IIS and ASP and from MySQL to MS SQL-Server. This was somewhat of an interesting experience as well.

In June I had my oral law exams. Since then I am a qualified lawyer (Diplom-Jurist).

When I came back here today I was wondering whether my account would still be there. Luckily for me it seems that Brett changed the 90 days inactivity rule :-).

Now I hope that I will be able to visit and participate here a bit more often than during the past few months.

Until then

Andreas

I tend to believe that some members may not have their accounts deleted because of inactivity. You would surely be one, Andreas. Good to see a post from you again.
