Hi everyone ,

My Name is Malcolm Cowley and its nice to be here. I have just subscribed as a supporter but seem unable to log into the Private forum at the top of the page - it keeps logging me in as a members but then never forwarding me to the private threads? or am I missing something?

If someone can help then that would be great

Thanks in advance

Shak

I do believe it's been mentioned, many times, that Brett likes to "meet & greet" the new supporter's before they obtain access...

I must have missed those threads. It would be nice to have some kind of notice in the confirmation e-mail.

-No biggie!

Robino,

From Brett in thread: [webmasterworld.com...] msg:5
Ya, it is still a manual kick on thing on the back end. There are a couple issues:
1) we use nicknames and payment processors use real names.
There are a couple things I could do to address that, but they both involve asking the member for more info.
2) I do like to touch base with those that subscribe.
3) The subscription system is primarily a way for members to support the site and it's continued existence.

HTH, wruk999

It would be nice to have some kind of notice in the confirmation e-mail.

Judging from how many times this has come up lately, that would be a very good idea.

Hi Shak

Cheers for the welcome mate hope I enjoy it and the up coming conference sounds great.

Hopefully ill get my chat soon then but thanks for clearing it up.

Have already had a post moved though :-( Wanted to make a formal intro about who I am but maybe the salesman in me slipped out a little to much for the Mods liking - all very pleasant though I have to say but was a bit gutted to get a black mark so quick :-) Never mind sure ill make up for it and it does look like an interesting forum - just when you think your getting to know a thing or two Shak and then you realise you actually know nothing and your sites are rubbish :-)

I thought my personal stuff was doing ok and I was coining it in but after a few minutes reading through some old posts on here and I feel like a caveman again , like the first time I downloaded a copy of FP lol

Are you going to the conference in London Shak?

Look forward to having some crack with you in London then Shak.

I live near Camden, NJ in the USA - forget London if you're looking for good crack.
