I'll never forget a few years ago when I answered an orphaned post in the Browsers forum. The thread was a tricky question that I answered patently wrong. Tedster came along with skill and diplomacy and not only saved my face, but answered the guys question as well. I knew right then I needed to stay over in my little Google forum and tell tedster to call me if he needed more bandwidth :-)
You know, its not just the 5k posts, but the stuff that goes on in the background as well.
For example, a few weeks ago I got a totally unexpected sticky from Ted thanking me for replying to some newbie posts (Of course I felt that it was completely unnecesary; after all, I am another newbie just trying to give back a tiny amount of what I am gaining).
It is those small actions in the background which help give WebmasterWorld its community atmosphere and help set the professional and courteous tone.
