I did a search on here. Does anyone have a good primer on Yandex? I am just looking for the basics. I heard they do not count more then one link from a site. I can get my IQ. I just need to make a plan to raise it.

Plan so far.

1. Get themed links.
2. Improve plan.

Yandex... Looks like a russian SE to me? Is it big?

Sorry for not responding earlier to your thread here toddb, but personally I don't know much about Yandex other than they're big (60% market share [liveinternet.ru] [#1]), they're Russian and they're just around the corner for IPO [multilingual-search.com].

We have some older stuff [webmasterworld.com] on Yandex and doing a search brings up [google.com] a bit of info as well :)

Not really a primer, but should get you on your way?

Hi toddb,

I heard they do not count more then one link from a site.
this is definetely not true. I've done only one SEO job with regards to this engine, but I assure you they index perfectly many pages from the same domain. Got actually all the pages indexed quite well.

General SEO recommendations are valid for this SE as for others, so your plan can easily be extended to Brett's 26 point plan. :-)

Good luck.
