Hi
I 've got 2 sites:

1) a french site hosted in France
2) an english site hosted in USA

The site A is identical to the site B. It contains 500 mp3 (legal) with the same Titles.
Some text appear on each page of the site but with few words : between 10 to 50 words

My question: Do I risk duplicate content?

Don't worry. The same site in many different languages is perfectly valid. Check the site in my profile and you can see it done in 20 langages. We rank #1-5 for all important keywords and have been doing so for years, in a competitive environment.

Btw: Welcome to WebmasterWorld!

Thanks for your answer and for the welcome!

In fact, I was wondering because the 2 sites I was talking about are very similar except few words (text) in each pages. It is not the case of your site which contains a lot of text...

How few words of text? Is the bulk of the text the same? If the site is mainly pictures with very little text, then all is fine as long as all the text is translated.

Welcome to WebmasterWorld Dumbel.

I just want to echo what rencke said; once you translate the copy - no matter how little it may be - you absolutely fine. The engines will not see it as dupe content and will reward you with traffic in the language you translate to :)

Yep you should be fine for sure. I have a site with 12 language versions and no problems for years on dupe filters for that. Was just checking stats actually and that's why I wanted to post here. Just made a big sale in Japanese ;)
