Seznam and Centrum go Google!
Two biggest Czech SEs use Google...

It was bound to happen! With the Czechs being a nation which hate commercialism, Google became the 'underground' search engine to them. Now Seznam.cz and Centrum.cz have picked up on this and are trying to regain ground by using Google.

Sounds good to me. Do many Czechs search in English and would these databases hold .co.uk and .com domains?

Good find backus. Google really marches on today eh?

Seznam certainly shows .co.uk and .com but with a Czech preference. Search for BBC [search1.seznam.cz] - noctice #1 bbc.co.uk/czech?

Centrum seems to be Czech (.cz) only?
Search for BBC [search.centrum.cz]

Veritysystems, like most other people in Europe I would assume that Czechs search their native language first, then English second. So an English site could get some traffic from those, but to be in-the-money, I would advice some Czech language pages :)

Thank's Rumbus. We do have some very basic language pages for some countries (Spain, Portugal, France, Germany), plus distributors worldwide.

Many distributors don't understand SEO even when we send them basic info on what to do. Or they don't have the time, etc. Those that do, of course reap the benefits. :)
