We have a site that we will be submitting to the open directory. This site could fit under two different categories one with an editor one without. Any ideas on if submitting to the category without the editor will speed up the process or slow it down.

Submitting to a cat with an editor may improve the chances of getting listed faster but there is no guarantee. In the end it is probably best to submit to the most relevant category.

Always, always, sometimes. :)

I always try and ignore the editor situation, instead see if the most relevent catagory lines up with your targetted catagory.
