which ones?

I recently started a blog and figured this one of the ways to possibly develop traffic. Which directories are an absolute must? advice?

Thanks, Eric :-)

dmoz has two catagories for them (one under "On The Web" and one under "Online Writing" depending on the focus of your blog.

technorati.com has tags which you can include on posts, which can give you a few hits depending on how busy and well-read the tag category is.

blogwise.com is also a pretty good one.

quacktrack.com is the largest, though the method of getting listed is complicated: you have to get listed on blogshares, then players can vote your blog into up to 5 categories.

You can't go wrong by setting u your blog software to ping services like weblogs.com and technorati. :)
