I haven't had a site worthy of a Yahoo! dir listing in awhile so I haven't kept up with it, but today I went to look for a category to submit to and noticed all the links are now redirects. Do search engines even count these as links, and with Google, do they pass PR anymore? [edited by: martinibuster at 6:56 pm (utc) on July 18, 2005]

It's been using redirects for a long time
The mirrors in other countries pass pr.
The mirrors count as links.

If you submit to Yahoo, how many links do you get in the international mirror sites? My site is not regional in nature I have searched the backlinks of sites that are listed in yahoo.com, but often do not find any other links from yahoo mirrors - I find yahoo.com.au sometimes, but I don't see things like yahoo India.

I'm seeing a [dir.yahoo.com...] link to my site using Google's link: command. Google obviously ignores the redirect.
