so one guy took goguides and the other one skaffe. they look the same and all that stuff but "they are not" if that makes any sense :)

Use the site search here looking for "Skaffe". This is a complex and controversial issue, and from reading the past threads you should be able to figure it out without having to rehash the matter here again. In a nutshell, there was a schism, and both are progressing using the same starting database.

Basically it's down to irreconcilable differences. I got listed there recently, it was all very quickly done and has sent me a little bit of traffic already.

Both GoGuides and Skaffe settled any differences we had some time ago and have a good working relationship independent from one another. What you will find now is two strong directories offering unique services and directions. GoGuides is running strongly as it always has and Skaffe is focusing more on an international market with multiple languages and a new independent kids and teen directory http://www.skaffekids.com
