dmoz apply email keeps bouncing anyone else getting this problem. jackobar
I have applied to edit my local town directory. and when i reply to email@example.com it keeps bouning back back to me with an error.. i'am just clicking reply and send.. anyone else had this problem.
At the moment, the ODP is doing major computer upgrades. In your case, I'd say keep trying. Hopefully, you saved that app to a file in case you have to send again. For everyone else, I'd recommend not applying to be an editor, or submitting sites, until an all clear message goes out the upgrades are done. Just too common for glitches during system upgrades, and data being lost. Mike_Mackin
They have lost my editor login cookie.
I can remember my password.
I stsrted when there were only 200,000 sites. kctipton
It's bouncing because there's nothing "on" at the other end to receive it. Try every day or so, but don't expect success for a while. jackobar
got a reply..friday,,,rejected again.. dargo21
They have lost my editor login cookie. I can remember my password. I stsrted when there were only 200,000 sites. You'll have to request reinstatement. After 4 months of no editing, your login will expire. You can request it here: [ ...] dmoz.org g1smd
... then follow up in the appropriate thread at Resource Zone if you hear nothing back in a week or so.
Be aware that the ODP
editor side including site submission, URL update, editor application, and other such functions may be offline from time to time, especially in the next 10 days or so.
