Welcome to WmW, Dave. In the old days (95-97) Eudora would have packed a wallop for an SE, now I sometimes believe I'm the only one using it.

RC, the good news is there's two of us! The bad news is there may only be two of us!

Out of curiousity, are any of you using the newer "sponsored" (ads) version? Or are you still using the Eudora Lite Ver 3.0.6 ??

M_M, Eudora AND MAC, eh? Always the rebel, right?

I just upgraded to the ads version of Eudora. The nice thing about it is the ad is a little 2 inch by 2 inch box that sticks to the lower border of the screen and is fairly non obtrusive. And I get all the neato features I didn't have before...like spell check. I will look for an update for Northern Light add-on and report back.

Rock on! We don't do Microsoft in our household either: I have a Mac and a PC running Solaris. My husband has a closet full of machines running all different versions of Solaris and NetBSD.

Mike,
"M_M" it was, though -given the recent flash fire in the forums elsewhere- I certainly understand your reasons for not wanting anyone to get confused.

So we won't inadvertantly create a policy; so far as I know, we've not established a formal sub-username naming scheme. I try to keep shorthand unique intra-thread, because I've noticed it gets particularly tricky when 2 "RC's" are in the same thread, right RitualCoffee?

Things on the East Coast are suddenly very peaceful. Weather is gorgeous and business is booming. But....it's going to rain this weekend.

4.3.2 with no ads here and the durn thing still pops up a window about once a month inviting me to submit a marketing survey... irritating as hell sometimes.

I see a retailer here in the US (Staples) has Eudora Pro on sale for $30 with a $30 rebate. Might have to pick up a copy.
