king of the metacrawlers

Just had a go on this engine, i have to say i was extremely impressed, as it quite accurately displayed my more focused pages opto's.
It seems to meta-request (directories = edited descriptions) of the following.
Yahoo - (definetly weighted towards), ODP, MSN, AV, Looksmart, Fast, DH, Excite and Euroseek.
There seems to be no Lycos (possible because of Fast).
Complete exclusion of Google, no probs their, as i like to check google by myself.
So what do you think ?

Sorry mate, way before my time - at least on WMW. Though i should start using the search facility to check the db before posting.
One point though, when you enter a keyphrase - hit search, you get your results, if you hit search again you get different results, i.e. a deeper retrieval from search engines.

Just a bit of background m8 that's all.1
I must admit I do like how it works as well, very slick.
1 If I'm being totally honest it also shows how far ahead of the game WebmasterWorld can be :)

Vivisimo is created by Carnegie Mellon, about 20 minutes away from out offices in Pittsburgh. I think this engine is fantastic and I like how they display the actual rank from the engines. We're hoping to get a meeting with them soon!

The president also appears to have a *very* hispanic name.
I wonder if this will be an search product for Spanish speaking countries anytime soon?
One to watch for sure.

Having just purchased 3 Spanish [root phrase] domains, in .com & .com.mx the idea is interesting.
No Habla - what a pain!

I played with it a little more - Vivisimo, I mean.
Not as good as i first thought, it mis-reports results from certain search engines.
So I played it off against virtualfish.com, and found that VF was more accurate.
At the time of starting this thread, i was not aware of the problem, so maybe it is something new or i overlooked it.
Any idea's on this one ?
