I'm hoping that a few of the "pro's" around here could take a look at this page

and tell me how I'm doing as far as a photography related theme?

Specific Questions:

1. My site is all .shtml, (Banner Rotation will need it in the future) will this hurt me?

2. Should I lose the javascript for my subscription pop-up/cookie? I hate to, but if I must to boost rankings.....

3. Should I keyword my 50+ alt tags? Or would that be considered spamming?

4. With my subject matter and tons of content, it is easy to repeat keywords MANY times in the body text and not appear odd, what is the boundry between OK and SPAM?

5. Is there really a boost for keywords contained in text links?

Sorry to pile on the questions, but thanks very much for any and all thoughts!

Hi sundown,

Firstly, why don't you forget about themes just for the minute, concentrate on getting at least your index page listed at altavista.com. Your old listing there has an ineffective title, try with the new one and establish a base point against which you can judge improvements.

Visit here Lynx Viewer [delorie.com] and see more clearly the structure of your page.

Good luck and nice site.

Ok, done. I'll submit one page a day. Any thoughts on the rest of my post? Thanks!
