The new version has two problems that makes it unusable. My fix for the syntax error that occurs on some perl versions, has caused errors on other perl versions. I will have to rewrite that entire section of code. (html strip routine)
And I inadvertently doubled a subroutine (lame cut and paste error that the syntax checker didn't catch - maybe there is something to thist "strict" stuff afterall
