a 500 error usually puts useful information in your webserver error log. I recommend you look there.

Thanks for quick reply. I am new in scripting work. Can you tell me how and what should i do in my control panel of the server? Where i can find webserver error log? I have CPanel with the website. Thanks again

an internal server error suggests problems with server / file access, rather than your code. have you made sure your file is CHMOD 755?

I had the same problem earlier this week. Check out lypha.com/supportcenter/file_permissions.shtml Gives a good overview of how to set permissions.
