BL pages with high ranking

Now and then a BL page with rank high and the intrigues user will visit. I hate to lose a potential customer. Then with all the nervousness about pure links pages and I know you have done all you can . . .

The other day, I re-worked all your fresh pages to include some of my doorway pages to precede your links. When the odd searcher finds me (your pages), they will get my doorway, then scrolling down, a page of white, then your links begin.

Do you see any problems with this approach? If you do I will change in a flash.

Thanks.

Hey, it *is* your site, but I'd prefer you didn't do that. We are after all, trying to work with one another on this. Suppose site XYZ hits top ten under a killer keyword and your link happens to be the first on the page. Would you want that person to have their links all the way down out of site? It works the same for everyone.

On the other hand, I understand why you'd wish to do it. But keep in mind, we are getting better with each refresh and I am really working on ideas for the directory structure which should help all of us enourmously. Any ideas in that direction and certainly welcome.

btw: did anyone notice that last week we had a page ranked 2nd on Yahoo under "free email"! A tough phrase and highly competitive. There were a few sites that got alot of traffic out of that.
