links, links, links...... does google count links that are not clickable(plan text) teeceo msg:413456 12:12 pm on Dec 4, 2002 (gmt 0) hi all. I would like to know if google counts (www.wiget.com) as a link without it being the clickable (http://www.wiget.com)? If the link is there on the site but, you can't click through to it. Also, is it safe to link all the pages of your site to each other(no linking out stuff) only incoming and "whole site" linking?

A dead link is plain text, so it wont be counted.
Linking all your pages to each other may be frowned upon. It depends on the size and style of your site.

Go to Google and type in www.widget.com and you will see a link which says:
Find web pages that contain the term "www.widget.com."
Not sure what real significance this has in regards to PR (if that is what you are asking?) ... but its clear that Google does make note of it.
