Link Pages... (GATEWAY Page) Creation Software
Does anyone know of GW Page Software?

I've seen a few sites, ads, and banners in the past regarding software that automatically goes out to the web, gathers all the incomming links to a specific domain and then formats the links into a HTML Gateway Page....

HAS ANYONE worked with this software, know the name, or can give me feedback?

I've used a few Gateway pages in the last 6 years and they have worked great for me. I'm not talking about link farms or a "member" based GW page. Just a simple html page that resides on my server that points to other domains linking to mine. Simple, but extremely effective for us.

Best,
Frank

If you really want to build a page like that, the best way to start from are your referral reports (many analyzers generate the reports with referrals being links already). You would have to clean them a bit because referral spamming becomes really popular these days.

Now, I don't understand how can this approach be "extremely effective". There have been a few (inconclusive) discussions on this topic a few months ago here.

I personally prefer to minize the number of reciprocal links because reciprocal links are usually achieved by link trading and are not genuine "votes" in the original PR sense. Your approach would make every link to your site reciprocal. Be careful.

Here's a thread demonstrating that buying software for this purpose is not really necessary.
The main point would be to extract the links, which any little script will do.

Yes, in more than one regard. Anything that involves automatic queries to search engines is dangerous. Anything that might look remotely like link farming is dangerous too.
