1. Make sure the site in question does not have a greyed out or 0 PageRank. I would be wary of paying for a link on a site that has loads of other links on it. 2. You should be very selective of the sites that you link to. Only link to quality sites that send you traffic. Link to them as they link to you...if they give you a good link, do the same for them.

I have found a very interesting thread in the library [webmasterworld.com]. (easy you can sort them by forums with a single click...) This one is a real nugget. [webmasterworld.com...] Liane also made a very good thread about follow ups for reciprocal linkage, if I find it I will suggest it for the library.

Thanks agerhart, but where should I put these links? Most clients don't want to have links to other sites on there home page or none the less at all anywhere else on their site. So how do you work around that? Any suggestions on how to get them to do reciprocal linking?

Here it is! [webmasterworld.com...] Now in my personal set of flags. I was wrong, I thought Liane started it. She came up with brillant ideas! (and templates too!) Enjoy!
