They will follow links in graphics, but I don't think that they will follow links in Image Maps........they will even follow Flash links.

I thought we'd settled the image map question last summer? Yes, they will follow image map links.
Consider also this obscurity: paths of graphics may-could-possibly-I'm-just-saying-they-might have some effect on link pop. What value that information has, we will leave as an excersize for the reader. That's all I got to say about that...

Hmmm. Interesting. So maybe putting all my graphics in home/images is not as good as splitting them up into for example home/widgets/round_widgets/images and home/widgets/square_widgets/images. That makes sense to me. But I don't know how to compare/test link pop to verify that hunch.

Interesting I thought image maps were not well supported, anyone know how many SE's follow them?
Also "Google follows flash links" is interesting ... I was shocked when I discovered they indexed pdf files, there are some things one might like them not to be able to index no?
