No, CJ's links are rendered as www.qksrv.net?id=45456322 Which will then redirect to you. (BTW, I just made up that previous link but you get the idea) What you need to get link popularity is an href with your domain as the link. Not another one that ends up redirecting to you. Mike

What if it is a permanent redirect? dont SE's follow permanent redirects?

Affiliate links definitely do not count (as far as CJ goes). THey do not use permanent redirects. THe links track back through their site in order to allow them to track stats. If you want to get link pop benefits from affiliate marketing, you'll probably need to develop your own in-house program.

by the way, let's see this backwards: if, let's say, i have an affiliate site , links to real shop (even to cj) are considered outgoing links? probably yes. Moreover, in CJ case, where CJ links are eassely recognized, do you think SE's can "see" the affiliation?

Just wondering.. If links do not count with CJ Affiliate Marketing.. Does the fact that CJ will bring lots of traffic to our site count for SE's? Do SE rank heavy traffic site better than low traffic sites? If so, having a CJ affiliate account would that help?
